The thing is, that an honest person will assume that you are the owner of the bike and that you have lost the key or forgotten the combination code, where as the person that knows what you are doing is not going to point you out because that is not kosher (honor amongst thieves and all). So you have here, is a situation where if you act like you own the place, you do.
